Hue Imperial City 🌸

If you are looking for a place to "touch" history and immerse yourself in the ancient space, then Hue Imperial City is definitely a stop not to be missed when coming to the ancient capital. I just had the opportunity to visit here and was really attracted by the grandeur but still very quiet, making every step feel like being lost in the golden past of the Nguyen Dynasty. Hue Imperial City is a cluster of relics including the Imperial City (where the king held court and worked) and the Forbidden Purple City (where the king and the royal family lived). The Imperial City includes Ngo Mon Gate, Thai Hoa Palace. The Forbidden Purple City is an area reserved for the king and the royal family, including Dai Cung Mon, Ta Vu and Huu Vu, Can Chanh Palace, Thai Binh Lau, Dien Tho Palace... You should go early to avoid the harsh sunlight and have more time to visit because the Imperial City is quite large and easy to get lost. The weather in April when I went, Hue was quite hot, the sun was scary but the photos were beautiful. June-August will probably be even hotter. If you want to see Hue poetic and sad, you can go in September-October.
