The saying 'If you don't go now, you'll end up going later' doesn't really apply to me... I guess it's more like 'If you don't go, then later is the right time'. The Hue Imperial Palace was the last royal dynasty of Vietnam, the Nguyen Dynasty's palace grounds, and it is registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The scale of the Hue Imperial Palace is quite large. The halls are also splendid and well-maintained, offering plenty to see. If you plan to take your time and explore every nook and cranny, you should allocate more than 2 hours. Since the weather is hot, essentials like a parasol, hat, and water are a must. The street food noodles outside the castle are decent, but if you're concerned about hygiene, you might want to pass on them and just have a refreshing juice instead.
