Wat Phanan Choeng Wo

Wat Phanan Choeng Worawihan is not far from Wat Yai Chai Mongkol. It is a beautiful, old and important Ayutthaya temple. Inside is enshrined Phra Phuttha Trairattanayok or Luang Pho To or Chao Pho Sam Po Kong, a Buddha statue in the late U Thong art style in the Mara-Vijaya attitude, which is the largest Buddha statue in Ayutthaya Province. It is also a place of worship for both Thais and Thais of Chinese descent. After visiting, I felt warm and proud of the art and civilization of the Thai people since ancient times.
