Wat Koh Kaew, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya

Wat Koh Kaew is a public temple under the Mahanikaya sect of Buddhism. It is located along the Pa Sak River in Kamang Subdistrict, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. The temple is flanked by canals on both sides, making it a spacious, quiet, and peaceful place. Around the temple, there are many Buddha statues for worship. Upon entering, you will see a beautiful white Buddha statue and five Buddha images. There is also a residence of King Taksin the Great. At the back, adjacent to the Pa Sak River, you can feed the fish, which are abundant. There is also a free coffee shop available. Donations can be made at the temple. The temple was originally named Wat Pak Khlong Hailam and is affiliated with the Mahanikaya sect.
