Portuguese Village, a Hundred-Year-Old Ancient Site

This is the #Portuguese village, which at that time, during the reign of King Thaisa, actually lived around 2,000-3,000 people. There were both Portuguese and Thais who were Christians. And this village, the Portuguese were also the first nation to come and trade with the people of Ayutthaya or Siam. Before it became an abandoned village in that era, there were many epidemics, which Min thinks left behind evidence that is still intact and clearly visible, 1 village. Because in fact, the ancient villages of the Ayutthaya people were Chinese, French, Dutch, English, Japanese. But many villages did not even leave any evidence to see. But this village still has a lot left. This village is located on the west bank of the Chao Phraya River. In front of the church called St. Peter's Church, on the opposite bank of the Chao Phraya River, there is also a Japanese village, which Min will take everyone to visit in the next post. The important highlight here is that there are more than 200 skeletons inside, clearly divided by class. Which surprised Min a lot because other museums still have closing times. But here, when you enter, there is no lock at all. The website information says it closes at 5:00 PM, but if you fly in after that, you can still walk in. The atmosphere is shady and you can still see the locals in this area come to sit and talk, meet and take the children to walk around like a garden.
