914 years ago ---Phimai Stone Palace (Thai: อุทยานประวัติศาสตร์พิมาย, Royal Latin transliteration: Prasart Phi Mai), also known as Phimai Historical Park, is a Buddhist building complex in Phimai County, Nakhon Ratchasima Province, northeastern Thailand. It was built between 968 and 1001 AD and is known as the "Angkor Wat of Thailand". With the help of the French government, it was opened to the public in April 1979. It was declared a World Heritage Site in January 2009. #travelthailand
