Big Dream Boatman - Once in a lifetime experience

#falladventures #travel #familytravel mE And my partner had an amazing time on Big Dream Boatman trip with Alvin & Mr Hong as our guides. There were a few couples, groups of friends, and individual travellers ages ranging between 18-60 & of many nationalities. Many friends made, including the crew. The food was great, compliments to the chefs for making it so delicious and suited to all dietary requirements. Compliments to the barman, Ken, too for never leaving our glasses empty. And to the rest of the crew for keeping us safe! We had two days of beautiful sun and smooth sailing, and one day of rain & wind in the more open sea. The crew was phenomenal, ensuring everyone was comfortable and dry, fed and watered. They had a very tough job but made it look easy, and for that, we’re so grateful. Sleeping arrangements on land are comfortable, with great snorkelling & island hopping along the way - a brilliant and authentic experience. In terms of packing, definitely bring a dry bag and have portable chargers ready (though there is power along the route). You won’t always have a signal, which is a delight, so have some music or books downloaded! Suncream, clothes to cover up, and bug spray are essentials - the sun seemed especially powerful at sea, so don’t underestimate this. We cannot recommend Big Dream Boatman enough as a once-in-a-lifetime trip; although we’re already planning to come again!! A true privilege to have experienced this.
