Sri Dit Waterfall, Phetchabun Province

Sri Dit Waterfall is a single-level waterfall flowing from a cliff, meandering through the gaps in the rocks, falling down like a beautiful curtain of many waterfalls. Below, there is a large pool of water where you can swim, but during the rainy season, you should be extra careful because the water can flow fast. Therefore, it is a tourist attraction where you can experience both the natural atmosphere and the historical tourist attraction that you would not believe could be related. Sri Dit Waterfall is located in the Khao Kho Wildlife Sanctuary, which is rich in nature and plants. In the past, around 1967-1981, it was a place for the Communist Party of Thailand to store supplies and live. Until around 1981, the brave warriors of Khao Kho came to suppress the Communist Party of Thailand, resulting in the loss of many lives, one of whom was Sergeant Prapoj Sri Dit, who sacrificed his life at this waterfall on January 26, 1981, so it was named Sri Dit Waterfall. To honor Sgt. Prapoj Sridit who sacrificed his life on this battlefield at that time. The waterfall area is also not ordinary because it is a historical land of military and has many interesting stories. Sridit Waterfall is in the Khek River, which is a river originating from the Phetchabun mountain range, next to Thung Salaeng Luang National Park. The waterfall is a large rocky layer with water flowing all year round. It is a single-layered cliff with a 90-degree angle, approximately 30 meters high and 50 meters wide. Between the two sides, there is a wide pool that receives the waterfall below, interspersed with large and small rocks and various forest trees. The waterfall is surrounded by nature and rainforests. It is another beautiful waterfall. In the rainy season, the water current is quite strong and the water is yellow and muddy with a lot of water.
