Petra: Ed-Deir

The Ed-Deir, (meaning literally ‘The Monastery’ in Arabic) in Petra is in my opinion even more impressive and even more worth seeing than the treasury building which is the one you see and all the advertising for Petra. The hike to get there however is not easy with almost 800 steps but you’re awarded at the top with this amazing structure it’s huge facade.
