A Stay at New Chaung Thar Hotel 🏨

#favouriteitinerary New Chaung Thar Hotel has been my family’s go-to hotel for years ever since I was a kid. They have a beautiful infinity pool with the view of the ocean. There are friendly stalls right outside that will rent you bicycles! The aunties living in the rural part will try to sell you their homemade seafood that you can preorder (which we got, refer to pic 5) It’s truly a blessing to be able to get seafood for a price that low, especially considering how this is their specialty since they’ve been perfecting the recipe over the years! Another non-seafood popular dish is, Coconut Chicken. They would cook a sweet coconut flavored chicken and serve it in a coconut husk! It’s one of the best chickens I’ve ever tasted. I heard the hotel has renovated over the years and now they have a Premium Suite for stays. They’ve also build a kid’s water play area beside the pool!! I recommend this hotel if you plan to visit Chaung Thar.
