A Perfect Day on Île de la Cité

During my stay in Paris, this was the first time the weather had been so wonderful. The sky was endlessly blue, the sunlight was warm, and the breeze was gentle. So, I decided to take a leisurely walk around Île de la Cité today. The day began at the square in front of Notre-Dame Cathedral. Although the cathedral is still under restoration, standing in front of it, it remains majestic and beautiful. Walking along the Seine River, glistening under the sunlight, I felt my heart becoming clearer and lighter. As I strolled around the island, I saw people sitting on benches reading books, basking in the sunlight, and chatting by the riverside. The scenery was truly delightful. And the highlight of the day! Dessert time🍰!!! Parisian desserts are always a joy!
