Dreaming of Tahiti

🏝️I first heard of Tahiti from a Korean drama I watched as a child called "The Prince's First Love." In the drama, the male lead tells the female lead, "I'll wait for you in Tahiti, always..." Of course, I was immediately drawn to the name "Tahiti." I searched the Internet for all the information I could find about Tahiti and learned that it was a vacation destination for wealthy Americans. The island even has a minimum spending requirement for tourists. Later, I traveled to Hawaii and saw a performance by the indigenous people of Tahiti at the Polynesian Cultural Center, which further fueled my desire to visit Tahiti. Ah, Tahiti...
