Pamukkale, a white paradise spread over limestone hot springs

#NovemberTravelSupport I visited Pamukkale, the most dreamlike landscape I've seen during my trip to Turkey. From afar, the terraced cliffs look like they're covered in white snow, but a closer look reveals they're all natural terraces formed by hardened limestone. In person, they're even more magical than in the photos, and the subtle blue shimmering in the light is truly breathtaking. During my visit, I tried a foot bath in a pool of warm water, and it felt like all the fatigue I'd accumulated from my trip was melting away. The warm water enveloped my feet, and the white limestone formations surrounding me were truly a special moment. However, the limestone was more slippery than I expected, so I had to tread carefully. There were also shallow sections, so the feeling of stepping on the water was different every time, which was exciting and truly brought home the true essence of this unique natural landscape. 📍Tips for Visiting Pamukkale ✔️Beware of Slipping! → The wet limestone is extremely slippery. Don't rush, and instead, tread slowly with your entire foot. Shoes must be removed before walking → Due to safety regulations, you must walk barefoot in the limestone areas. ✔️A towel is a must! Bring one to dry your feet after the foot bath. Recommended times are morning and sunset, not noon → The limestone formations are even more beautiful due to the sunlight. They also come out beautifully in photos. ✔️Be sure to also check out the Hierapolis ruins above. The walkable location and unobstructed views make for a satisfying experience.
