Palma Cathedral, a landmark of Mallorca

Palma Cathedral (Catedral de Santa Maria dle Palma de Mallorca, also known as La Seu) is a magnificent Roman Catholic cathedral located in Palma, the capital of the Balearic Islands, Spain. It combines Catalan Gothic style with other northern Gothic elements. The interior of the cathedral is filled with light and shadow effects, especially the light projected through the huge rose window, creating a mysterious and sacred atmosphere. The cathedral is located in the old town of Palma city center, adjacent to the Port of Palma on the east side, facing the Mediterranean Sea, with stunning coastal views. The design of the cathedral takes into account the location of the port, so that the first thing that catches the eye of ships entering the port from the sea is this majestic cathedral.
