First day we did all the big tourist spots; the cathedral, through the gardens and then across to the marina where we stopped for a drink at the elevated Sky bar for pricey cocktail but great views. We then walked to Plaça mayor via the shopping street and on to Mercat de L’Olivar. The market was mostly closed by then (about 3.30pm) so we wound our way back through the narrow streets for sunbathing at the hotel until dinner. The lively Molte barre tapas bar was right on the doorstep so we headed there - very good value & highly recommend pork cheeks). Took the advice to get there early & glad we did! Next day we hired bikes from Palma bikes near the cathedral. For €25 we got an electric bike which enabled us to do the entire coastal path plus cycle up the hill to Bellver Castle. Entry was only €4 and there’s a museum inside plus great views. We cycled to the other end of Palma and stopped at a couple of beach bars and had a quick dip. #historicallandmarks
