This temple is built with a blend of Lanna and Tai Yai art, beautifully decorated in a unique style different from typical temples. It was constructed from the faith and dedication of the local villagers. .. The temple is situated near Tat Thong Waterfall in Ban Pa Tung, Moo 7, hence the locals often refer to it as Wat Nam Tok (Waterfall Temple). It is also a passageway to the Phueng Pha Phrai Monastery. .. Wat Muang Mun Bun Rueang Kiri is located about 5 kilometers from Mae Chan District and about 2 kilometers from the Pa Tung Subdistrict Administrative Organization office. Currently, Khruba Tong Silasangro is the abbot. .. The temple is currently constructing additional religious structures.
