A Day Trip to Experience Mount Fuji

Early in the morning, I arrived at the meeting point in Shinjuku, feeling energetic and excited. Our guide was a very friendly gentleman who provided explanations in fluent Chinese and English throughout the journey. Later, we explored "Oshino Hakkai." This village is composed of eight crystal-clear spring ponds. The water was so transparent that you could see fish swimming leisurely at the bottom. The guide shared the historical stories and legends of this place, allowing me to appreciate the culture while enjoying the scenery. Throughout the trip, what impressed me the most was seeing Mount Fuji’s beauty from different perspectives. From the lakeside at Kawaguchi, to the heights of Arakurayama Sengen Park, and the purity of Oshino Hakkai, Mount Fuji showcased different charms against various backdrops, leaving me in awe every time. Of course, visiting Lake Kawaguchi wouldn’t be complete without trying the local ice cream! I bought one near Oishi Park, and the rich milk flavor and creamy texture were an absolute delight amidst the stunning scenery. I highly recommend everyone to give it a try!
