9/10🌟 Mitarashi Dango and Ichigo & Muscat Candy These shops are located on the way up to Hokan-ji Temple. The dango are chewy and soft, with a perfectly sweet and salty sauce. Served warm, they go together really well. The candy itself is just the right amount of sweet. The fruit is incredibly juicy. Delicious! 10/10🌟 Grilled beef skewers, grilled on a hot teppanyaki grill next to the dango shop. Sprinkled with salt and pepper before serving, the meat is tender and has a wonderfully meaty aroma. One skewer is enough to fill you up. 10/10🌟 SNOOPY Chocolate is located on the street in front of Kiyomizu Temple. This shop is filled with Snoopy characters. We ordered the Hot Chocolate and Iced Chocolate. They weren't too sweet and came with whipped cream. The flavor was just right, with a rich, milky aroma. 8/10🌟 Kyoto Cutlet Warajiya: We ordered the Rare Beef Cutlet, grilled medium rare, which made the meat a bit dry. The sauce had a nutty flavor. With green salt, it goes well together. My friend's shrimp tonkatsu was delicious. The shrimp were huge. 9/10🌟 Shubutei Umeda branch I ordered a set with pork and beef, vegetables, and udon noodles. The soup was watery, but not very flavorful. I personally prefer the beef. Dipping it in ponzu or sesame sauce was great. P.S. They also offer a welcome drink, with a choice of sake or orange juice. 9/10🌟 Baby Castella at Kutsuo-ji Temple It was so fragrant that I had to queue up to buy it. The texture is similar to egg cake. It's fragrant and soft, but not too sweet. There's no filling. The portion is huge. It's fun to eat and I'm suddenly full. 10/10🌟 Henry's PIZZA🍕 I went to eat it following Jennie BP's footsteps. I didn't expect anything from a typical pizza place, but it was so delicious! They sell it by the slice. I usually just eat the toppings, not the pizza crust, but this time I finished it all. The slices are huge, and one slice is enough to fill you up. There are so many toppings to choose from! 9/10🌟 Daifuku Strawberry🍓 There are so many fillings to choose from. Chocolate, red beans, custard, mango, and matcha are all huge! The strawberries are fresh and incredibly sweet. 10/10🌟 Yakiniku HARU This is another random restaurant I stumbled upon. I wanted to try grilled food but didn't make a reservation, so everything was full. They offer both buffet and a la carte options, but the a la carte options have better beef. The A5 Wagyu is incredibly tender and melts in your mouth. The yukke and ramen are also excellent. P.S. 100/10. The service is excellent, both from the staff promoting the food and the staff in the restaurant who gave excellent recommendations. 10/10🌟 Kizu Market The sashimi is freshly sliced. The scallops are incredibly sweet, and the uni is fresh and sweet, with no fishy smell at all. Plus, the prices are great. If you come close to closing time, they'll have a huge discount (they close at 11 AM). 9/10🌟 Curry House T&A This is another random curry restaurant I stumbled upon. I got a huge portion, almost too big to finish. The pork is tender and big. The curry is rich and not too spicy. It's a delicious combination when paired with the restaurant's pickled vegetables.
