Mitsui Garden Hotel Osaka Premier - Superior Queen Room

For my 2025 birthday week, I booked the main accommodation last October with a non-refundable rate of 15,900 yen, and now the time has finally come to visit. Mitsui Garden is a Japanese hotel chain where I’ve previously stayed in Tokyo, Chiba, Osaka (Kitahama, now closed), and Kumamoto. This is my second stay at a 'Premier' location, following Ginza Premier. I chose the Superior Queen Room with club lounge access to enhance the depth of my birthday week experience. The hotel offers a free shuttle bus from Osaka Station, running every 20-30 minutes. It takes about 15 minutes to reach the hotel and 10 minutes to return to Osaka Station. The nearest subway station, Higobashi Station, is about a 7-minute walk from the hotel. Premier floors, including Superior rooms, are guaranteed to be on the 13th floor or higher. I checked in around 6 PM. I had informed the hotel in advance through their website that this was a birthday stay. Upon check-in, I was given two delicious cookies as a birthday gift, along with warm birthday wishes. My room was assigned on the 13th floor, and when I turned on the TV, a birthday message accompanied by celebratory music was displayed—a thoughtful touch. The hotel is located on Nakano-shima, an island in Osaka often compared to Yeouido in Seoul. The view from the window is a river view overlooking the Tosahorigawa River, flanked by the Conrad and APA hotels. The dynamic Osaka cityscape, with cars zipping along the Hanshin Expressway, is visible in one glance. The room features an open-style sink, bathroom, and toilet, separated into three distinct areas, reflecting modern hotel trends. This design creates a spacious feel despite the room’s size. Amenities include large-sized Mikimoto products and sample stands, adding a touch of luxury. The lounge is located on the top floor, the 16th floor, and is open until 1 AM. From 6 PM to 11 PM, unlimited wine, highballs, draft beer, and other alcoholic beverages are served, along with light snacks and canapés. I joined the lounge for the first session at 6 PM for 30 minutes. After attending external activities until 10 PM, I returned to the hotel and spent about an hour at the lounge for a second session, reflecting on the day while writing a review. Opposite the lounge is an artificial hot spring bath, which is free for all guests. Interestingly, even guests with tattoos can use the facility, provided they use tape or covers, which are available at the front desk. After a restful sleep on the comfortable bedding, I attended breakfast at 6:30 AM. The morning was filled with the aroma of rich, fried foods. Breakfast is served Kyushu-style at the Kyushu restaurant, featuring over 10 types of tempura. Thank you.
