Osaka Time Machine! A 1928 Showa-Era Café.

Help! While strolling near Fukushima Station in Osaka, I accidentally stumbled upon a super nostalgic Showa-era café! After some research, I found out it has been in business since 1928 and is the third oldest café in Osaka. What a hidden gem! As soon as I pushed open the door, I was blown away by the antique-filled interior. The elderly owner, with his white hair, was incredibly welcoming! The café was packed with locals, chatting away while enjoying their coffee and breakfast. The Showa-era vibes were absolutely on point. I ordered a cup of incredibly aromatic hot coffee. The rich coffee aroma hit me instantly, and I could adjust the sweetness and creaminess to my liking by adding sugar and milk myself! The egg sandwich was also amazing—freshly made, with the soft bread perfectly complementing the egg's flavor. And all this for just around 30 HKD! Even though it was a bit of a "chicken and duck" conversation with the elderly owner, we managed to have a delightful chat using gestures and a few words. He even mentioned that the antique cash register in the café is older than he is! With its affordable prices, authentic atmosphere, and no language barrier worries, this place is a must-visit. Next time I'm near Fukushima Station in Osaka, I'll definitely come back to this time machine café!
