Osaka Castle Spring Travel Notes: A Historical Journey Under the Plum Blossoms

It is also convenient to walk there. ． Bus: You can take the Osaka City Bus and get off at the "Otemae" stop, which is not far from the Osaka Castle Tower. 🫀Personal experience It was a cool spring day. The sky was a little overcast but not to the point of being boring. Instead, it added a touch of tranquility. I originally just planned to visit Osaka Castle to see the castle tower, but I didn't expect to encounter the plum blossom season, which was a complete surprise. Coming out of Mori-nomiya Station, walking along the path in the park, you can feel the gentle breeze and the air slightly scented with flowers all the way. The imposing presence of Osaka Castle itself is still very shocking, especially when you approach the castle tower, you can really feel the weight of history. But compared to the magnificent city walls, the blooming plum blossoms made me stop and stare longer. White, pink, and even red plum blossoms are in bloom. There aren't many tourists, so you can take pictures quietly or sit on a bench and daydream. There was an old couple sitting in Merlin chatting. I couldn’t hear what they were talking about, but the scene gave me an inexplicable warm feeling. I think this might be the charm of spring, unobtrusive but reassuring. Before leaving, I bought some limited edition plums and fruits from a small shop next to the castle tower. The sour and sweet taste seemed to seal the memory of today on the tip of my tongue. This is not my first time visiting Osaka Castle, but each time I come, the season is different and the experience is completely different. This visit accompanied by plum blossoms seemed to have an extra layer of soft filter, where history and nature intertwined, quietly leaving behind fragments of spring.
