This private art museum, founded by the Fujita family in 1954, houses a collection of approximately 2,000 ancient artworks from East Asian countries such as China and Japan, including nine national treasures and 53 important cultural properties. The museum's treasure is the Southern Song Dynasty "Yaobian Tianmu Tea Cup", of which there are only three complete pieces in the world. Here is one of them. The mysterious glaze color is truly amazing! The museum was converted from an old warehouse of the Fujita family. After modern renovation, the building, garden and surrounding environment are perfectly integrated. The transparent glass facade and the large stone pavement upon entering give it a full sense of ceremony. The old materials of the original warehouse are cleverly used to connect the past and the present. The teahouse at the entrance offers tea and snack sets for 500 yen per person, where you can sit down and rest when you are tired of shopping. Although the exhibition area in the museum is not large, every exhibit is worth careful appreciation. It is rare to be able to appreciate the authentic works of Yuan Dynasty painter Huang Gongwang up close. After the visit, don’t miss the exquisite Japanese garden courtyard in the backyard.
