Matsumoto Azalea Garden: The overwhelming presence and beauty of the azalea mountains

Matsumoto Azalea Garden is a tourist farm that is open to the public for a limited time in spring (April) and autumn (October). I was interested in the place after seeing other photographers posting photos of it on social media, but the impact of seeing the mountain-like wall of azaleas in person was even greater than in the photos! It's a scale that makes it hard to believe it's a privately run place. Photo 1 was particularly memorable, with a beautiful contrast between the blue of the nemophila and the colorful wall of azaleas. Photo 2 shows the azalea hill near the entrance, which is impressive enough in itself, but the further you go, the more impressive the wall of azaleas becomes, as seen in photos 3 and 4. Photo 5 shows a secret passageway, a hidden gem here. It was fun, like walking through a maze surrounded by azaleas. The entrance is hard to find, so I probably would have never known it existed unless I happened to see someone nearby enter. Photo 6 appears at the very end of the route, and the contrast between the red maples and the colorful azalea walls was beautiful. This is a popular photo spot, so it was quite hard to take a picture without people around. Photos 7 and 8 were taken when I visited during the autumn cosmos season. I thought the beauty was different from the overwhelming feeling of spring, and it was nice. #domestictrip
