Tour of the twelve shrines in Okazaki "Tokuo Inari Kotohira Shrine"

#Travelingwithme I visited Tokuo Inari Kotohirasha during my tour of the twelve shrines in Okazaki. Tokuo Inarisha and Kotohirasha are enshrined together and are also called Tokuo Shrine. Tokuo Inarisha is said to have originated when the Inari god was enshrined in the Ishiyama area of ​​Inakuma-no-go at the request of Imagawa Ujichika, the 9th head of the Suruga Imagawa clan. Kotohirasha originated when Tomo Hayato, a vassal of Homma Saburo Shigemitsu, served as a shrine attendant at Kitano Tenjin Shrine. The two shrines were enshrined together in 1967. It is said to be the best place on the Tokaido road for long wisteria. Reading the history of the shrine, it also seems to have a connection to Ieyasu. The goshuin is popular. The grounds are not very large, but the beautiful wisteria trellis and the well-maintained grounds of the beautiful shrine make it a pleasant place.
