The power of the earth splitting apart! "The Niagara of the East"

#0yentravel Located in Numata City, Gunma Prefecture, Fukiware Falls is a magnificent waterfall located in the middle reaches of the Katashina River, about 7 meters high and 30 meters wide. It is also known as the "Niagara of the Orient" due to its unique topography and water flow, and has been designated as a national natural monument and scenic spot.   The name of the waterfall comes from the fact that the water gushing out of the cracks created by erosion of the bedrock looks as if it was blown apart by a huge rock. The impressive scenery continues to fascinate visitors.
