Make a difference in Nördlingen

When you think of a medieval walled city, what comes to mind? 90% of people would say Rothenburg. If you go to Nördlingen, you can avoid the crowds and have a comfortable trip. Even if you take into account that June is not the tourist season, there are not many tourist spots where you can take photos as if you have the cityscape all to yourself (in fact, Rothenburg was full of tourists). In the evening, you can see locals returning home from the station, and you can think about the real daily life in the old town. It is hard to climb the stairs to the church tower that overlooks the city, but it is definitely worth it, and the compact cityscape is perfect for walking around. If you get hungry, there are inexpensive inbis and you can enjoy everything.
