A temple built from the buried treasures of a wealthy person

It is said that during the Second Fall of Ayutthaya in 2310, a wealthy man buried treasure between a Bodhi tree and a golden shower tree. Later, villagers dug it up and found it, so they sold the treasure and used the money to build a temple. Therefore, the name was given to Wat Pho Thong Lang, which later changed to Wat Pho Thong Lang.
