Phra That La Nong: The Stupa in the Water by the Mekong River in Nong Khai

Phra That La Nong, also known by locals as Phra That Klang Nam, is an ancient stupa that was once situated on the banks of the Mekong River in Nong Khai province. However, it is now submerged due to changes in the river's currents and erosion. The top of the stupa still emerges above the water during the dry season. It is believed to contain relics of the Buddha and is revered by both locals and tourists.
