The park is the work of the enigmatic Bunleua ​​Sulilat (1932-1996), who purchased the land in 1978 while in exile from Laos. Evoking Synthetism inspired by Buddhism and Hinduism, sculptures of Buddhists, goddesses, Naga snakes and various half-human, half-animal figures. ㊙️The original site of the Salar Caves was an ancient Brahman temple, and its founder Luangpu was born in Nong Khai. As a child, he fell into a mysterious cave and met an ascetic monk who told him about the multiple layers of hell and taught him knowledge of Buddhism and Hinduism. So the sculpture garden was named after the monk Kaewku. luangpu started building this garden in 1978. His work attracted many fans, who provided materials and labor for free and worked with him to create this strange fantasy world. There are more than 200 large cement statues in the park, including statues of Buddha, Bodhisattva and Hindu gods. On each sculpture's stele there are inscriptions in Lao and Thai explaining the work and concept. 🧲Seven Dragon Buddhas: It tells the story of how the Buddha persuaded a big snake to practice under a bodhi tree and encountered a heavy rain.
