Since Lugu Lake is located at the junction of Yanyuan County in Sichuan's Liangshan Prefecture and Ninglang County in Yunnan, it is jointly managed by both provinces. Therefore, you will see vehicles with license plates from both Sichuan and Yunnan on the road, and the speed limits on both sides are different. Those on self-driving tours must pay attention. 🌸 A beautiful resort hotel by the Lugu Lake We stayed two nights at Lugu Lake, in a hotel located on the water's edge in the newly built village of Lujia Bay on the east side of the lake. The accommodation conditions are very good and offer great value for money. I really like this location for accommodation. It's about a ten-minute drive from the entrance of the scenic area, with convenient parking and very quiet, offering a true vacation feel. If you prefer a livelier atmosphere or more convenient travel, Daluo Shui Village or a few villages to the west might be better. The housekeeper also upgraded our room for free: a first-floor room with a small garden. The room is large, clean, and the facilities are of high quality. It's very close to the lake, quiet at night, with good sound insulation, and the window faces directly towards the Gemu Goddess Mountain. The hotel's lakeside coffee shop has an American retro style, and the coffee is delicious.
