Ningbo - Cicheng Ancient Town (Transportation is inconvenient)

Cicheng Ancient Town is located about 15 kilometers northwest of Ningbo city center. It is a rare ancient town in Jiangnan that has preserved its original county layout. Known for its meticulous planning and rich cultural heritage, it is often referred to as "the first ancient county town in eastern Zhejiang." I visited with a tour group for a day trip. In the morning, there weren’t many tourists, and the place felt quite peaceful. However, if you’re not with a tour group, transportation might be inconvenient. It’s recommended to visit only if you have a car. 🕰️ Operating Hours: 08:30–17:00 💰 Average Cost: Admission to the entire area is free, but some smaller attractions require tickets (e.g., Confucian Temple, Former Residence of the Top Scholar).
