Fish Road Ancient Trail (Jinbaoli Avenue) From Shanghuangxi Parking Lot to Jinbaoli Avenue Gate Take bus 1717 from Jinshan Old Street Start hiking from Shanghuangxi Parking Lot (with public restrooms) During the autumn season, Walking along this ancient trail is incredibly comfortable and scenic. The autumn silvergrass sways gracefully in the breeze. Although the trail from Shanghuangxi to Jinbaoli Avenue Gate is entirely uphill, once you pass through Jinbaoli Avenue Gate, you'll reach the Qingtiangang Grassland on Yangmingshan. This is another wonderful spot for relaxing and taking photos. After finishing your hike, you can take bus 108 (park shuttle to Yangmingshan Bus Terminal) or bus S15 (to MRT Shilin or Jiantan stations) to descend the mountain.
