[Turkey] Things to note when using Nevsehir Airport in Cappadocia Useful information to know! ? (^^) ● An airport that is so small that it's almost too small ● Shuttles must be booked in advance ● Delay rates are too high ● There is only one convenience store It's a really small airport. When you arrive at the airport and go through the automatic doors (second photo), you will immediately go through a simple baggage inspection (third photo), and once you pass through the baggage inspection, there will be a check-in counter at the back left (fourth photo), and there are only two gates. Looking back, there is one convenience store (fifth photo), and by the way, this is the only store there!!! ! ! ! After checking in your luggage at the check-in counter (6th photo), you wait on a chair in front of the check-in counter until the security check opens (^^) When you go through the security check to go to Gate 1, there is only one gate, so everyone is on the same plane✈️ You exit the automatic doors and walk straight to the plane (7th and 8th photos) I used it for a domestic flight (Nevsehir → Istanbul) I arrived at the airport about 2 hours early, but I had plenty of time. By the way, it takes about an hour to arrive by shuttle bus from downtown Goreme. When booking a shuttle, it's best to tell the airport what time you want to arrive (^^) You can have it booked through the hotel. ●Book a shuttle in advance!!! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! It's an airport with nothing really. After arriving, when I left the exit, there was only the shuttle driver. ●The delay rate is too high I used Istanbul ↔︎ Nevsehir Airport There were delays on both the way there and back. My friend was delayed 15 hours and had to wait until the next day at the airport. There have been several other people who have reported delays.
