With weather in the late 20s, it’s the perfect spot for family fun, and our trip was packed with unforgettable moments. Canoeing to Hidden Waterfalls Our favorite day started right from Burriana Beach, where we grabbed canoes and paddled along the turquoise waters. Hugging the coastline, we discovered hidden caves, dramatic cliffs, and, best of all, cascading waterfalls. The kids loved the thrill of paddling under the spray, and we even stopped for a swim in the crystal-clear coves. A true bucket-list moment! The Sierra Nevada Adventure Just an hour’s drive from Nerja, the Sierra Nevada mountains offer a complete change of scenery. The winding roads led us to breathtaking views of rugged peaks and lush valleys. We stopped at quaint villages along the way for tapas and cold drinks, soaking in the serene mountain vibes. The views from the top? Absolutely worth the drive. Very cool seeing this without all the snow. But depending on when you go, you could be standing on snow in the morning, and back in the beach by the afternoon. Along the beach are so many restaurants and bars to enjoy, my ultimate recommendation is Ayo for THE BEST paella 🥘 you will ever have. You’ll find a pretty long queue on the beach front but that just shows you how good it is. From sea to sky, Nerja delivers it all.
