I envy every city with a big lake.

Wuhan has East Lake and Hangzhou has West Lake. As an inland city, Xi'an only has a few small artificial lakes. This time when I came to Nanjing, I was once again impressed by the Xuanwu Lake in Nanjing city. It is really a blessing to have a big lake in the city. Nanjing's Xuanwu Lake is next to the ancient city wall and Jiming Temple. It has beautiful scenery and is crowded with tourists. Whether you are taking a walk, taking a boat, or taking a sightseeing bus, you will have a very good experience here. We entered from the Xuanwu Gate and headed north. We passed an area with wild birds. It felt really novel to be able to watch birds at such close range in the city. Not common.
