Wat Phra That Khao Noi: A Temple with Stunning Views in Nan, Thailand

Located in Nan Province, Thailand, Wat Phra That Khao Noi offers a breathtaking view of the cityscape of Nan. Until recently, the temple was under restoration, with scaffolding surrounding the Buddha statue, making it inaccessible for viewing. However, by the end of May, visitors were finally able to see it. Interestingly, the Buddha statue here is not the usual golden figure but a striking black one. Its original appearance, as shown in the fifth photo, is a radiant golden statue. Seeing the black Buddha statue at this particular time might be considered a rare and unique experience. 😊 This serene spot provides a panoramic view of the tranquil countryside of Thailand. While I wished for a clearer blue sky, the slightly overcast weather added a certain charm to the scenery.
