Hallyeohaesang National Park

Instead of mountains, this park features stunning coastal scenery, with hundreds of small islands scattered across the sea. I took a boat tour around the park, and the views of the rocky cliffs and deep blue waters were incredible. The highlight of my trip was visiting Geojedo Island and hiking to Windy Hill, where the ocean breeze and panoramic views made me feel completely at peace. I also explored Tongyeong, where I rode the Hallyeosudo Cable Car up to Mireuksan Mountain—one of the best views I’ve ever seen! The combination of ocean, islands, and mountains made this park unique compared to Korea’s inland national parks. Whether you’re hiking, sailing, or just relaxing by the coast, Hallyeohaesang is a fantastic destination for nature lovers. It’s a must-visit if you love the sea!"
