Phra That Phanom, Nakhon Phanom Province

Phra That Phanom, a sacred religious site in the Northeast, is a sacred relic that represents the prosperity of Buddhism in Nakhon Phanom since ancient times. It was built at the beginning of the Buddhist era around 8 B.E. during the time when the Sri Khotrabun Kingdom flourished. It is located on Phu Kham Phra, standing tall on the banks of the Mekong River. It is a place where the Buddha once came to teach the little ones.
