Nagoya's Guardian Shrine - Wakamiya Hachimansha

This is the guardian shrine of Nagoya, dedicated to the deity Hachiman. It is also regarded as a protector by the local residents. The shrine is located right next to the Osu Shopping Street, yet it has a serene and secluded atmosphere. Next to the main hall, there is the Renri Inari Daimyojin, and the ema (votive plaques) for prayers are adorably shaped like three-dimensional foxes!
