[Kai Nagato] Take a break on the riverside terrace

KAI Nagato is located in Nagato Yumoto Onsen in Nagato City, Yamaguchi Prefecture. This hot spring inn is designed after the "Ochaya Yashiki" teahouses of the Edo period. I've always loved the KAI series of Hoshino Resorts, but I really like KAI Nagato. One of the reasons is the river terrace. It's also recommended as a rest spot while strolling around the hot spring town. Right next to the riverside entrance of the inn is the Akebono Cafe, which is open to non-guests. You can buy dorayaki and drinks at the cafe and enjoy them on the river terrace, so it's great on a nice day! The parasols are closed on rainy days, so it would be nice if it was sunny. It seems that cherry blossoms will bloom in spring.
