The history of St. Peter's Church in Munich With only one day left before my return trip, I initially planned to visit the Englischer Garten, but after hearing that it's quite bleak in winter, I asked for a recommendation (from a German friend visiting Munich). She suggested Old Peter, the tower adjacent to St. Peter's Church, which offers stunning views from the top. So, I decided to go. Following the navigation to St. Peter's Church, I first visited the interior of the church. The dome was breathtaking, and the religious murals were ancient. Exiting from the other side, I happened to see a small side door with a ticket office, which led to my climb to the top.
