Mungyeong Saejae

Walking through Mungyeong Saejae, the most striking impression was the 'weight of time.' Learning that this path was once traveled by scholars heading to Hanyang for the state examination made every stone and tree along the way feel special. Particularly, as I walked the 6-kilometer ancient trail, the blend of forest scents and the sound of the valley stream brought a sense of calmness to my mind. Along the way, informational signs and exhibition halls added to the enjoyment by providing historical context. The trail is flat, making it an excellent destination for family trips with children. Mungyeong Saejae is not just an old path but a treasure of Korea that connects the past and present.
