The small town in the southern part of Bosnia and Herzegovina remains quaint and charming despite a century of weathering

🏨 Mostar ❤Recommended Reason: You must visit this beautiful town when you come to Bosnia and Herzegovina. Mostar, located in the southern part of Bosnia and Herzegovina, has withstood a century of weathering and still exudes an ancient and charming atmosphere. 🌟Highlights: The old bridge, once destroyed in the war, has long been listed as a World Cultural Heritage by the United Nations. 🚉Travel Tips: You can get there by chartered car/self-driving/bus/train, but it is generally recommended to take the train, which is cheap, comfortable, and fast. It takes 2h, buy tickets at the Railway Station in Sarajevo (easy to locate), one-way 14 marks per person. If time allows, you can buy tickets in advance (there are plenty of tickets, and many people buy them on the same day), with two trains every day. Sarajevo-Mostar 7:15/16:49 Mostar-Sarajevo 6:36/17:09 Mostar also has an airport (code: OMO) but there are not flights every day. When we left, we chose to fly directly to Serbia. 📝Note tips: Mostar also has transit buses to Serbia, no need to go back to Sarajevo, but the duration is longer, 12 hours. We chose to stay in the town for 2 nights, one day for town sightseeing, and one day to go to Blagaj Spring/Small Waterfall. 2. Town sightseeing: The town is not big, and you can basically finish strolling in 1 day. Old Bridge/Cross Mountain/Museum/Speedboat River Tour/Watching Diving; 3. Surrounding town tour: Blagaj Spring (about 17 kilometers away, you can take bus 10/11/12, pay attention to the schedule, there are fewer trips on Saturdays and Sundays, especially on Sundays, even fewer trips - see the timetable at the end) Kravica Waterall (farther away, suitable for self-driving, strongly recommended by the Belgian girl in the next room) Accommodation Suggestions: Accommodations with a view of the old bridge are relatively expensive, but the town is actually not big, and you can reach the central area within a 5-10 minute walk. You can choose Villa Acupulco, which is right at the bus 10 stop, near a bridge next to the old bridge, quite convenient. 🍽Dining Recommendations: You can go to Hindin Han, which is very cost-effective! The taste is authentic, near the creek, very nice!
