San Pietro Cathedral in Modica

The Duomo di San Pietro in Modica is a must-see when you visit the city. This grand cathedral, with its stunning Baroque style predominantly in white, is truly magnificent. The church was established by San Marziano, a disciple of Saint Peter, the first bishop of Syracuse. Due to its connection with Saint Peter's disciple, the interior of the church features many motifs related to the tiara and Saint Peter. The entrance fee is €2.5 per person, which is well worth it.
