Inokashira Park, Tokyo

The cherry blossoms arch beautifully over the pond, and renting one of those little swan boats to paddle under the pink canopy? Yes, I did it — and yes, it was every bit as charming as it sounds. The petals falling on the water made it feel like I was inside a movie. I walked through the quieter wooded trails, stopped by a tiny shrine, and even wandered into the Ghibli Museum nearby. It was calm, artsy, and full of soft, poetic energy. I grabbed some crepes from a nearby café and just people-watched while petals floated past. Inokashira was more intimate than flashy — a perfect #cherryblossom25 spot if you want something quieter but still very Tokyo.
