From the moment you step into the guesthouse, its exquisite decorations, relaxing scents, and tranquil atmosphere invite you to slow down and savor every detail. The rooms are spacious, the bedding is comfortable, and the balcony offers a stunning view of lush green mountains. During the Tung Blossom season, you can admire the blooming flowers covering the hills right from your room, and occasionally spot monkeys playing in the forest, immersing yourself in the pulse of nature. However, adding one or two chairs in the room could further enhance the comfort. Led by a young team under the management of an experienced Hong Kong manager, the guesthouse provides a warm and welcoming experience. The staff is happy to share local travel tips, including recommendations for local delicacies and souvenirs. Meeting a Hong Kong manager in Miaoli adds a touch of familiarity, as you can communicate in Cantonese. He even helped us book a restaurant in Taipei, which was particularly helpful for Hong Kong visitors who don't use Line. The guesthouse itself is a perfect spot for photos and feels like a destination in its own right. It faces a small river and suspension bridge, and crossing the river leads you to must-visit attractions like Nanzhuang Old Street and Osmanthus Alley. Overall, highly recommended! If the room rates were slightly more affordable, this would definitely be a place to revisit on our next trip to Miaoli!
