WHAT'S FOR BREAKFAST IN MEDAN, INDONESIA

There is a saying that goes : there is nothing better than a proper breakfast ! True that is and we were so pleased when breakfast was already included in the staycation package 😉. It is something that we always look forward whenever we were travelling as we got to experiment what the locals eat. The kind of breakfast served ranges from nasi kuning (yellow rice), bubur ayam (chicken porridge), lontong medan (rice cake with gravy), mie goreng (instant noodles) and other yummy foods ! 😋 My mouth waters just by writing it 😁. And whats really interesting is, they also served jamu in a small glass, to start the day. It is a popular traditional herbal drink for ones wellness and good health. We did try and the taste was so strong that we had to dilute it with more water ! #newyearadventure #yearofrabbit #tripblazers
