Due to its exceptionally fine and white sand, it was known as "Sugar Sand." The surrounding, expansive beach, hundreds of meters long, resembled a plain in the sea. At high tide, the beach was submerged, revealing only a narrow path; at low tide, the beaches on both sides gradually became exposed, a rare geological phenomenon.
