Hobbiton, the best healing travel destination in New Zealand's North Island!

I visited Hobbiton, located in the North Island of New Zealand. Famous as the setting for the movies 'The Lord of the Rings' and 'The Hobbit', this place really felt like a fairy tale world. The cute hobbit houses nestled on green hills, the gentle breeze between them, and the fresh smell of grass… My heart calmed down from the moment I arrived. The Hobbiton tour had English and Chinese guide options, but unfortunately, the English guide seats were already full, so I booked the Chinese tour. The problem was that I couldn't understand Chinese at all. The guide explained passionately, but I couldn't understand what he was saying at all, so I was a little embarrassed. Still, I was able to follow along, roughly guessing from his gestures and the atmosphere, and the surrounding scenery was so beautiful that it wasn't too inconvenient. It was also fun to imagine myself as Bilbo Baggins while walking slowly. The scenery itself was so beautiful that it was hard to describe in words. In particular, the warm light at sunset and the sound of sheep grazing combined to create peace itself. However, the tour time was too short, which was disappointing. The one-hour schedule was not enough to fully enjoy this magical place. I wanted to look at each hobbit house in more detail, sit on the hill, and leisurely enjoy the scenery, but time was running out, and it felt like it passed by quickly. I wanted to take a few more pictures, but my steps were heavy because I only took in the pictures with my eyes. If you want to escape the noise and stress of the city and breathe with nature, Hobbiton is highly recommended! If you want an English tour, don't forget to make a reservation in advance, and if possible, visit leisurely without time constraints.
