#exhibition Marseille has a free and very comprehensive museum (you can spend half a day to see everything) - Marseille History Museum The Musée d'histoire de la Ville de Marseille traces the history of the city of Marseille from its founding to the present day. There are indoor and outdoor exhibition halls. There is a big Carrefour in the shopping mall, which is great for shopping. The Marseille History Museum displays the history of Marseille from prehistory to the present day and is divided into 13 sections. Out of personal interest, I spent a lot of time in the second, third, and fourth rooms, as this is where the Greco-Roman period is explained. The museum has some very interesting exhibits: a Greek merchant ship wreck from the 6th century BC, a Roman merchant ship wreck from the 3rd century AD. (You can see ancient ships in the museum!), Greek vases, Roman city models, Roman-era mosaics, and more.
